As a child growing up with her family and then as an independent young woman, Andrea Heath traveled coast to coast frequently within the U.S., finally studying art formally and graduating cum laude with a BFA in painting and sculpture from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. Since then, she has continued to construct and deconstruct in an effort to tell a compelling visual story. She now resides in Oregon where she has been supporting adults with developmental disabilities while continuing to create multimedia art, showing her work regularly throughout Corvallis as a member of the Corvallis Art Guild. Andrea is currently working on two illustrated children's books, Tank Teaches How Dibs is Done and The Pocket Story.
